steve142
Doing the ballast plumbing in my boat this weekend. Im sure midnight will document the process. I think he needs help with his addiction to the smell of freshly drilled fiberglass. Lt. Dan will have plenty of medicine on hand, lol oldsmobiledriver, MidnightMax, The Donfather and 1 other

Shawndoggy
I've only ever done it as a one man show. I'd imagine it's way easier to goop up a through hull with 4200 and tighten up the nut from the inside with a person on each side of the boat! The Donfather
I ran an electrical distribution panel under dash. Then I ran four circuits to where I m putting switches. Plumbing coming probably in January. MidnightMax, Shawndoggy and WakeDirt
Shawndoggy
Don the electrical part of it takes like 5x longer than the plumbing. Good call getting the distro done first.
steve142
We are adding a blue sea 6 circuit fuse block
The Donfather
I added a Blue Sea 12 circuit blade fuse block. Feed with 6awg protected by a 80 fuse.It is tucked under helm for easy access in case a fuse blows. Right now it is only powering my extra 12 volt adapters that I put in my rear lockers. Shawndoggy
Haha! I was gonna say that the 12 is the better call than the 6.... I did a 6 first and replaced with a 12. It's always good to have some extra capacity for more gadgets. The Donfather
steve142
I still need to figure out where we are going to put mine. It will just have the 3 Johnson pumps and the lenco actuators for the surf system going to it.
The Donfather
I still need to figure out where we are going to put mine. It will just have the 3 Johnson pumps and the lenco actuators for the surf system going to it. Here is a picture of mine. It is up under dash. I installed it without moving my sub, So i know i can change fuses easily if needed. oldsmobiledriver
steve142
So you took out the black plastic liner for the sub?
The Donfather
So you took out the black plastic liner for the sub? I had the liner cut just where the sub is. The sub slips into the are behind the liner but protrudes foward about 4 inches. The sub is against the walkway wall going towards the drivers(starboard) side. There is about 8 inches between sub and exterior edge of liner. I have my heater vent for the driver in that 8 inches of the liner. basically just moved it from middle to right side. steve142
Here are some, Midnight has more. we put a 12V in each locker and also put one in the glove box. My pics were taken after clean up, Midnight took pics as the project was moving along.. MidnightMax
steve142
Couple more of the intakes. We put about 120 feet of the 1" hose in the boat and the only visible hose anywhere is just the fill/drain and vent in each locker to hook up the bag.
