imondi
I just sold my A22 and I am considering getting a new f22 or b52 23wb. However, I can't seem to find anything about the wakeboard wakes. I love the f21 wake and I am wondering how they compare. Pics would be greatly appreciated! Shawndoggy
how fast do you and your crew ride, and with what ballast on the A22?
imondi
We usually ride 23 to 24.5 and we ran close to 4k lbs...
Kalamazoo
22 has a better slow speed wake (18.5) it you take out little ones, which is partially why I chose mine. cant speak to 23/24 mph wake differences.
DFTR Josh
I love the f21 wake You know mines always available for you guys when you hit UT. I would share a pic but you already know it's a beast! Hope people can throw up some pics of the wakeboard wake since it seems like everybody is leaning towards surfing these days. I have been told the B52 throws a big wake... just never seen one.
Nordicron
I don't know anything about the b52 but the f22 wake is pretty dang awesome!!!!! I had a deal worked up in Oct and was SO close to pulling trigger but the darn thought of paying for kids college next year pulled me back to reality, along with the wife! But seriously I just rode a 14 Xstar Monday and would take a f22 wake over that any day! Only other boat that I've ridden that was so big and yet so easy to hit was the G. We had full factory and a couple 100 in rear lockers plus full underseat bow bag. Wake was nice and clean at 22.5 and great shape! In fact it was the only onboard boat. Funny you say that... I just healed from knee and shoulder surgery! I was really hoping to get some wake pics before driving 10 hrs to demo one! It sounds like they are similar to the f21 though... Let's hope so!

hammer
I found the f22 to be narrower then an f21 tomcat. The f22 was a little bigger with more straight up pop. I usually ride 75 ft at 24.2 moh on an f21 where as an f22 i was at 80 ft at 24 mph. The wake was big

imondi
Yeah, the closest dealer is around 5 hrs, but we don't like any of their boats so I think we are just going to go to the dealer that is 10 hrs away! Hammer... Thanks for the feedback! That is good to hear. Do you happen to have any pics?
hammer
Only photo i can find is a friend riding 70 ft no ballast but a 750 bag in the nose.
imondi
That wake looks pretty solid! We are driving down tomorrow to pick up a 2015 f22... We will set it up and get some wake pics later this week! So stoked! oldsmobiledriver and WakeDirt
The Donfather
Here is a pic of our 2014 23 b52 wake at 21.2 It had a 200 lbs in each rear locker. Stock tanks empty. Smokinjo, MidnightMax and oldsmobiledriver

DFTR Josh
Victor ~ Can't wait to see this boat! It's going to be interesting what you think about the F22 over the A22 that you just sold. Keep us informed and drive safe to get the new boat.

DFTR Josh
Thanks josh!! We need to plan a trip to ride. I am pretty excited to try it out! Bullfrog, USA could be a good middle meeting point! Would like to take the family down that way and get some memories back and some Powell riding. F21 & F22 together would make for 1 sweet picture in Lake Powell, kind of like this! oldsmobiledriver
theedgeinc
I've ridden the new 23 with stock ballast full, 22mph, Wake was beautiful, more rampy than the previous model, which i like. Also, less finnicky at slower speeds than the out-going model. I'd say more vert than your axis with wedge down, If you've ever ridden a Malibu, with the power wedge set to 1/2, it's like that... only bigger boogs and oldsmobiledriver
