Setting up a F22 for optimum wakeboarding

Looking for tips for setting up our F22 for wakeboarding.  We mostly surf and just occasionally board, but one of my daughters friends prefers to mostly wakeboard and I haven't found the perfect setup for her.

For me.. no weight and 19-20mph is more than enough for me at my old age.

For her.. she only wants to go about 18.  We added weight on one side, both sides, moved trim plate, shortened rope and while it had a decent pop at 18mph the lip gets frothy.

I would like to here your setups and speeds.

Or just completely empty at 18 it has a great wake at that speed. The Deep v will still put nice size wake completely empty, maybe even slightly larger at 18 than it is for u at 19/20 empty but not much.ull prob want make sure boat is pretty even weighted left to right at 18 so both sides of the wake are clean.

To add to everything above... Also make sure to keep her on a shorter rope length.  Try 55' or 60'

Seems a lot of people try to start off with full lengths of rope and only make things more difficult for themselves to learn.

That said, I've found full ballast + additional 400lbs, riding at 22.5MPH on 75' line to be a pretty good setup once advanced into big air/tricks.

I'll second the shorter rope.  At that speed, it is going to be very difficult to have a clean wake (nearly impossible to have it clean on both sides) at 75'.  Plus the wake will be very wide anyway.  At 55' or so, you'll probably have a more manageable width and pretty clean wake faces/lips.  On my boat, I need to be sure I have zero center tab deployment for all wakeboarding, regardless of speed, or the wake gets really messy.
