Hey guys, I found a website for all of you DIY guys that like updating your boat rather than buying new ones. It's called WakeGarage.com and no I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I just think they have a great concept. They totally respect the brand specific sites like MB Owners. They just want to capture all of the great projects from all of the brands to have in one site. That way you can see what works great on a Tige might work on an MB or visaversa. Or you can just go see cool boat projects by crazy people like yourself who really love boats. I don't want any of our members to go there instead of here. We have a GREAT family here. I just think it is a nice supplemental site to check in on. It is a new site with not that many members yet. I posted a few projects there this week to help get things going. If you do check it out look at the project archives first and then their forums. They are all about the projects first. This way you can find a project easily without having to search so many old threads. They also do not want to deal with "my brand is better than your brand". They just want good info for everybody.

Anyways I hope you can register an make a few posts. I know MB Owners are the best DIY group around.

Thanks. They are all posted here too except for the Centurion one. That is what they are going for, which is to make the projects easy to find for all brands. They just need more people to post and comment to get this thing going. New sites are tough to get moving. It just takes a good online word of mouth to start the snowball rolling. The better the content the easier it is to keep people coming back. The content here is great with new boats, old boats, projects and advice for repairs for MBs. They are just trying to replicate a piece of that with multiple brands and store the projects separately from the forums so they are easier to search for without having to sift through all of the other great posts. Hope it works.

Thanks to the MB Boat guys who added projects to the master database on Wake Garage so far!   Gotta have MBs representing!   Wake Garage's goal was not to steer anyone away from their brand's sites, but to provide a place to share projects with each other.  We'll always need a club for specific brands, and this is one of the very best IMO.  Plus the term "slappers" sounds so much cooler than gates.
