Did you ever find out what was causing this fault?  I have a 2018 B52 Raptor 440 and it started to give this fault today.

So I know this post is 3 years old but I just received this fault code and I see in the Indmar manuel it lists the SPN codes for 1213 and there are 3 codes... MIL control ground short, MIL Open and MIL control short to power. So im not the smartest guy when it comes to technical stuff like this but does anyone know what this means? or what it even has to do with?   possibly voltage related? O2 censor?

The lamp illuminates and there is an audible beep.

No other issues with boat, runs fine, all guages look good...

I think I replied to this on facebook.

But I had this code last year on my new 2020.  ran fine the first day. next day it was long to crank and start up and when it did the idle was very irratic. I was not driveable. I reset the perko for about 10 min and it cleared it. let it idle for about 30 min to make sure it was ok. I didn't venture far out cause we were in powell but it never gave me issues.

but what was interesting is my alternator was not charging very good. and the next day my batteries were drained all the way to 6 volts. what I did find was my bildge pump shorted out and ran all night. I found corroded wires from a poor connection butt connectors. that was my last trip of the year. dealer replaced the wires and pump. I took it out once this year for a shake down and it had no issues.  Not much help, but I think it was a voltage issue. the dealer didn't find anything besides what I told them.

Thanks Bloodie, I am leaning towards voltage issue right now too, but I do not have the other issues you were having. Actually no other issues at all that I can tell. We are going out this weekend so I will be checking voltage on my batteries and looking for any other symptoms.

Its just un-nerving to have the alarm sounding and a fault code but not being able to figure out what's wrong.

Yea I was confused because It seemed to have plenty of juice when I actually got the code. Only thing I could think is the bildge issue was shorting out at the time and causing voltage drop through the BUS lines.
