Aquaddiction
Well this was our first year with our 2016 23' B52 (Dauntless). Absolutely loved the boat and had zero issues (knock on wood). I am in the process of putting it to bed and pulling out the winter sport stuff. But I thought I would ask a couple of quick questions. - with the closed cooling system on the 6.2L Raptor is there anything else to winterize other than the raw water. I am assuming the heater core is supplied by the coolant side. - the only other things I am doing that I didn't do with my Tomcat is to suck a bit of antifreeze up the PnP pumps. anyway....I will continue to be jealous of you "year round boaters", and wait till next year. cheers fellow MB peeps!! mxvet
Right, heater is all antifreeze. Aside from draining all the raw water areas, I run a couple gallons of pink stuff through the system and then drain again. I also fog the motor as well. The aerator style pumps don't hold any water. You can just push in the red tabs & twist, pop them off to drain the hoses completely if need be. Aquaddiction
