So is that a piece you could retrofit on a say '16 F22?

Referring to the surf pipe.

Looks like the new swim deck still isn’t being installed yet. I assume they will retrofit it on yours correct? Again nice looking boat. Enjoy!

Thanks
It’s the factory surf pipe. I’m not sure about the new v2 swim step. Looks like a new surf light manufacturer too. The old lights were 6 led.

I went with the 400.  I boat at near sea level.   The 400 and 440 look to have identical performance at less than 3500 rpm and I hope to  be close to that at surfing and wakeboarding speeds.  I rarely ever go above ~ 27 mph,  so a little more hp at the top end is not important to me.

Surf pipe

Love the Rasta colors on your surfpipe - my factory surf pipe is stainless. Must be a west coast thing.

Kalamazoo
The boat is not pearl - I was going for a retro look and I thought the pearl and flake colors, while cool, had too much of a modern look.
Also - I searched all over for confirmation that this boat would fit though a 7’ high door and I’m happy to report it will. I had to take the board racks off and let some air out of the tires but it fit. 9’ x 7’ x 25’ is the absolute minimum size garage for this boat. 14” wheels are necessary too.

yeah the Soulcraft looks like it will be really fast.  Such a different shape than the boards I currently have - can't wait to try her out behind the new boat.

I had the 400 in my 2015 B52, went with the 440 on the 2017 and what a world of difference when you have the boat loaded for surfing. The 400 is still a great option, I just found when I had the boat completely weighted with people it had a hard time getting out of the hole.

400 GM and 440 Raptor are completely different torque animals. Not a great apples to apples. 400 raptor also smokes 400 gm for torque—at least out on the water it seems. Not sure about on the dyno.

Yeah your probably running over 4K rpm when loaded down and that’s where the 440 has the extra power. More power is always more better eh. Part of my decision, as illogical as it may be, was not wanted to pay so much $ for just a hotter tune
