Hello all,

looking for some advice on a trim tab. I have a 2011 F21 and would like to install a trim tab.

  1. What would you recommend buying (all parts) for my model.
  2. Anybody in the Lodi, CA area who has done this before and willing to provide some guidance (free food and beer involved).
  3. Anything else I need to consider?

Thanks in advance,

What are you wanting to gain with it? Surf wave assurance? I put a Lenco 12x9 on mine and have slappers. I’m under the impression it effecting my wave. Last year I rounded the corners so it wasn’t a square and didn’t notice a big gain. The tab doesn’t need to be as big as you can fit is my point.

i been looking at this also......    after a lot of research i am going with the airboat  9x 14 trim tab kit.   you can find it online in the $250 range and then only need to buy a switch and install.

I have a 14' F22....does the tab help with the surf wave? As in can it help keep the front lower or is this just for running on plane?
