ecklunda Posted June 6, 2018 Report Share Posted June 6, 2018 Finally replaced the insanely bad Clarion head unit on my 2015 B52 with the Exile DMC using the 2016 milled dash insert from MB ($129). Just ordered two MB switches so I can move the 3-way switches for my bags up from the lower console (by right knee) as they get constantly bumped and inadvertently activated. Its so nice having the ZLD up where I can actually see it and not constantly rack me knee. Due to busy schedule and likelihood of jacking this conversion up, I had CarToys in Tacoma WA do the work. I moved the left and right ballast gate switches to the left and right most holes and the level gauge selector to its proper location, leaving the 2 holes for the ballast bag reversible pump switches to be re-located. So the only non OEM looking issue will be the two ballast gate switches will be mislabeled, but they are in logical and easy to remember configuration which I don't feel it will be an issue. bloodiestcadaver, oldsmobiledriver, Bobby-21 and 1 other 4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
