Ryno_MB
I am a new MB owner with a 2018 21' B52. 400hp Raptor with a 2247 Acme prop. Boat has hard tanks and factory installed 800#fat sacs in rear. We are in AZ so usually boat under 3000' elev. We hit something and while I am going to get it rebalanced, I have a group outing planned this weekend, so I will be getting another prop (don't yet have a spare). We are a family of 4, an usually we have between 6-8 out at a time. We do all sports from recreational skiing to wakeboarding, to surfing. Any ideas or recommendations on a different pitch prop.i like the performance of the 2247, just curious others thoughts. Thanks in advance! Ryno_MB
So I ended up with a 2775. Definitely like the 2247 better for hole shot... Got that one tuned up and will make the 2775 the back up prop. Sent from my PH-1 using Tapatalk
OrangeTJ
2775 is like driving around in granny gear in a Jeep IMO. It’s just too deep when paired with the new trans. 2247 is probably the right answer for most. I prefer even less aggressive as we do a lot of mixed boating so I love my 2279.
