Kalen427
Has anyone noticed an inconsistency with their GSA? I have a 16 f22 and 90% of the time it is just my wife and I out. I have the factory hard tanks plus factory PNP, plus 1000 lbs in lead dispersed around. I go to the same lake with consistant conditions, fuel tank at same level, and get horribly inconsistant results from time to time. Sometimes I get the wave of my dream, and other times its washed out and little push. Again weight and balance doesn’t change but trip to trip the wave does. My thoughts are the deployments of the tab may be inconsistent? I have checked in manual mode and can verify that it states they fully deploy. Anybody else notice this? Or am I crazy? Lol
bloodiestcadaver
I would just throw most of the lead in the bow, fill everything up 90 percent full and dump the opposite surf side in 5 count increments till you love the wave. I was caught up on not getting the same wave with the same "set up" as i did last time. But since i do it this way I pretty much get a killer wave everytime
Kalen427
Fair enough, it’s mind boggling, makes me think earths rotation, and barametric pressure must be part of the equation. Lol.
bloodiestcadaver
Ive noticed the wave can be demolished by somebody just moving one spot over, even if the same side. I think its just really sensitive
oldsmobiledriver
What you guys are telling me is that the 2019 F24 is top secret because it has autowake now? OrangeTJ
I have a 16 F22, too, and mine does that too. What works amazingly one day can be weak the next. I have started dumping weight from the off side until I get what I want. That works well and I can always find an awesome wave, but it definitely makes switching sides for other riders a slower process. On my boat, getting a great goofy wave is the trickiest and requires the most off-side draining. For others, they say goofy is always good and regular is trickier. I really don’t get how the boats and the waves can be so different.
Kalen427
My goofy is awful as well. I’m really considering building slappers, I see the success the guys have had on the older hull design, but have yet to see someone try it on this generation. Maybe I need to take the plunge... OrangeTJ
You can get a great goofy wave with GSA. just have to experiment. A lot.
meetloaf13
Yeah, my goofy wave is $$ clean and huge on my 16 F22. Hard to screw up. Super Odd. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

dakota4ce
Wasn’t there some tab deployment inconsistency issues with the 2016 computers? Or did I dream that... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk adam4x4

I am not an expert but I heard the slappers put alot more drag on the boat causing quite a bit less "gas mileage" . People have good success with the GSA I would just play around with it more. Just something to consider even tho boats and good gas mileage really shouldn't be in the same sentence anyway. onequicktang

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Dakota is right there is a software updated that help with this if you have not done it yet. It put the tab out soon as you put it in surf mode to make sure it deploys all the way

New to the Vegas area and no MB dealer, so maybe the other local shops will be interested in earning a customer lol. oldsmobiledriver

meetloaf13
Interesting, I think I have old software. Early '16 build, I can manually deploy my tabs once underway. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
