Still—that’s pretty damn rich for a 400 boat! At least to me.

Yes, but run the stereo most of time on its own batteries. Talk with the dealer and they had a really bad year with them. some with only 10-15 hours on them. my first one went 175 hrs, 50 hrs on the next and 10hrs on the last one. so we will see how this one does. The stereo has been in the boat since day one and has not been changed

Alternator ever wet? I heard they went to overseas crap alternators..

Is this price normal for the boatmate trailer?  8k seems over priced being there is not much too it.

yes, same price as my 1 year old build sheet. Keep in mind MSRP. Boatmates look cool but their QC is garbage, seems to be a common theme is with trailer manufacturers. My VM trailer was trash too.

Yea boat trailers are just so basic i don't see where the money is coming from. Even a nice set of wheels and tires are under 2k

No boat fun yet other than sending my prop back for another repair...
But the LS Nova build we’re doing for a customer at work is coming along. Finally got the custom rear wheels. Fronts were test fit options. Posted ImagePosted Image

My boatmates have been nice as heck. What do you see that indicates their QC is bad?

I love the Boatmate under my F21.  Its 6 years old and still looks and tows great.  In fact it is hands down the best towing trailer I have owned and this is boat number 6.  I've had a couple of turd trailers in my day.

It was hard to pass this up on the the way to the boat show last week.  This lake is normally blown out with white caps everytime I pass it.  Not this day.  Unfortunately I was towing a uhaul instead of my boat. lol
