They are clearing out their 2018 boards so I picked this up this week. The finish is beautiful in person. I’m very impressed with this purchase. Can’t wait to ride it!!

I suspect you'l like it! My buddy has that board and it is suuuhhhweeeet!  I have a Neo, which I really like as well, but I like the Nubstep better.

Enlighten me here for a moment would ya? Love surfing. Been wakesurfing for probably 10+ years now. First board was a hyperlite broadcast, I thought I would never need anything different because it was just fun cruising. But then we started to think maybe there’s more to this than just cruising.

So then we bought a hyperlite coex. Ended up being a terrible board for me. I’m bigger, 220 ish. But that’s the board my wife currently rides.

So then I bought Triple X Slayer. (Surf style board) I have a Lotta fun on that board, but still mostly just cruising. Rides pretty fast. Can spin on occasion, but no airs.

What’s the nub offer? I’m curious. I probably shouldn’t be looking… But I always am ha ha. If not for me, I would like to get my wife into something a little more aggressive than her coex

It is fast and very responsive.  Depending on fin configuration it can be locked in or loose. It is very buoyant and light - with skill it can definitely boost air.

Jeremy, you should buy that nubstep, its a steal and better than any hyperlite. you'll love it

Check out Doomswell’s Podcast on their Facebook Live this Thursday at 6:30pm Central time. This week is about surfboard construction and shapes. They will be giving away a HyperRyd Designs XR1 Overhead Surf Racks to one of the listeners. The odds are good on this one!

I guess I forgot how long my Area 51 is, must be a 4’4” and it’s lighter than the nubstep. Excited to ride them back to back and see the difference!
