The racks use the overhead mounts which leaves room for four speakers on the sides. If you have overhead speakers and want racks, you would just need to reroute the wires and mount the speakers to the side mount locations. If you are running a six pack of speakers then overhead racks won’t work at this time. These mounts are so golden on the new towers. One half bolts to the overhead speaker mount locations. The other half mounts to the rack. They just slide together and use one set screw to lock together. They take about 10 min to install.
