Pipelayer Posted August 3, 2019 Report Share Posted August 3, 2019 Ballast lever cover plate completely stripped out. Screws are just set in thin plastic. Solution would be to use nuts bolts and washers but can’t figure out an easy way to get to back side without taking whole dash off. Not happy about this. Assuming yours is similar to mine, the side panel is held on by a few screws/ rivets, can be popped off in just a few mins. On each screw that goes through the faceplate I added a washer and nut. Be careful pulling off the MB logo under the throttle though, they are super easy to mess up, I ended up getting new ones at a autoparts store and replaced them with new ones when putting it back together.
