  4. I got out with the 3093. Did very well, lowered it 200 rpms. Everything full plus 300 pounds lead in front & 150 pounds lead port side rear locker, 4 adults & we were doing 11-11.2 at 3600 to 3700 rpm. Getting out of the hole is better too, smooth & right up. Helped the Raptor not feel like a weak disappointment & gets the job done well enough. Spot on suggestion from Acme.
  5. I previously had a 2001 Calabria VTS Sport Comp. I had to pull the floor on it a couple times to work on some things. That's the one thing I had already researched and found a post on this forum, with pics, of removal of the floor: I figure I'll try to work on this a few weeknights...remove the floor one day, make sure I have the right pump that works (because I had already ordered one a day after posting this), install, then replace the floor. Thankfully, I keep a Tusnami pump on my boat and had to use it once last year to pump water out when I forgot the plug and discovered the bilge pump wasn't working. Thanks to all who have replied.
  6. We have a 3'9" Good Daze. Essentially a Hyperlite Shim with different graphics. Works great for our 8 yo daughter and 11 yo son.
  7. My '05 also had the Sahara S500. I replaced it with a Amarine 760gph (less than $30). I think it fit just fine. The bigger issue is pulling the floor up. Total PITA 😬
  8. Lanzo... No, I haven't found the opportunity to dive into this yet. It's definitely an issue with the whole gauge cluster as my speedo/tach began failing intermittently last summer. I agree the suggested GPS conversion is a bit pricey. As a "get me through" for the summer I used my iphone for gps speedo and it worked fantastic. Hoping to find some time this summer to tackle the gauge issues. If you find a solution to your problem please post it. I'll do the same... if I can ever get to it.
  9. A mechanic said to swap the plugs on the four pack (they are all the same plug) just to see if the gauge is at least receiving power. This helps to narrow it down that it is not the gauge that is faulty. if it is receiving power, then the problem is somewhere else down line!!

This helps to narrow it down that it is not the gauge that is faulty. if it is receiving power, then the problem is somewhere else down line!! They are Medallion Gauges, which are not made anymore. My fuel gauge wasn't working, so I swapped the plugs to see if it would work, it did! Something is also up with my pitot line or computer. So speed does register on gauge so I am switching over to the new GPS harness kit put out by Nautic Laugic: https://nauticlaugic.com/NL2.html Pretty slick!! Hope that helps some

  12. Thanks thchavez05, that GPS conversion looks great, but pricy. My speedo is registering, but is way off and reading way too slow. I'm hoping the tach is just a connection glitch. What do you mean when you say you swapped the plugs?
  13. Just bought it yesterday and hit unmarked low spot first trip out. Never changed a prop before. It is a 440 engine and my lake is about 3700 ft elevation. What do I need to check besides prop? Driveline ? Which prop do I need?
  14. I know yours is an 07 and mines an 03, but my original bilge pump was an attwood gaurdian 500 and it did have the float switch built into it. When I replaced mine 9 years ago they didn't make that model anymore. I ended replacing it with the attwood sahara 500 auto bilge. It has the built in float switch as well.
  15. Just traded in my 2007 Malibu 247lsv for a 2016 F24 Tomcat. Very excited to get it out on the water and surf. Boat only has 62 hours on it and is in great condition. Wondering what would be a fair price to pay and also any suggests on how to set up for surfing. Has the 440 Raptor, Plug and play bags in the rear. Thanks for any advise and help.
  16. I'm just being funny but also pointing out those of us with the 23ft MBs could surf a kid board probably. I have surfed some low volume 4'6 boards behind my boat and I'm 6'2 and 230. I dont prefer them and I usually order the 4'8 sizes with adequate volume. Had to order a 5'2 last year for one of the doomswell I wanted to get and it's too big, the 4'8 i have is more fun to ride. Still waiting to try out my new brigade boards I ordered last fall

  18. Hi, was wondering if someone with 2000-2010 or so year boat could give me a measurement and possible pic of the rear deck hinges that are over engine compartment? Customizing older moomba mobius one piece cover that i want to build into three piece that opens in fashion of the mb. Have only found a few pics online and nothing about measurements..
  19. It will probably be a real long time before we see premium price of $1.59 again. This was from 3 weeks ago. Already hiked to $1.87 today. This time last year - $3.19, so can’t complain too much!
  20. I've gone through 2 honu's due to heavy impressions from my heel. (replaced by SC) running 4'8 on it as well. I have wct fins on it and its lightning fast. easiest board to recover on that I've ridden.
  21. Thanks for the replies. One other thing, the daughter of her aged parents (boat owners) is selling the boat for them. She said she doesn’t know how to tell how many hours are on the boat. If it’s not clearly stated somewhere, I’ve read the menu button + up arrow on PP should do the trick. Does that sound right?
  22. im sure you could surf a 4'4 if you wanted to I just dont want to work that hard. Im 195 right now and 4'7 feels about right but I cant help but wonder would 4'8 be perfect?
  23. LiquidObsession did you ever find out who made these gauges? I've got an '05 and my Tach and speedo haven't been working for years. I think the sensor is OK because Perfect Pass works fine, so I think it is in the Guage.
  24. yeah just top if off with fresh gas and on your ride back on the trailer it should mix together with the old stuff enough to run fine.
  25. And they didn’t use stabilizer. I’ve also never sat in an MB, I don’t necessarily know my way around them, but I’m going to pretend I do.
  26. I’m going to look at a 2010 B52 TWB Saturday. It’s been sitting for about 1.5 years. It had a service done in 06/2019 (oil, impeller, tranny fluid, changed PCM fuel filter, in-line fuel filter) but they never got around to taking it out last summer. I don’t know how much gas is in it. I want to start it In the driveway before I do a lake test. Any ideas on how to get the gas out? My only thought is to siphon it through the fuel fill cap. thank you
