  4. Hey there! I just got my 2022 B52 and love, love, love it! A few observations that I'm curious if others have noticed: That rear step the under the transom - wow, trying to unhook that thing with the rubber handle is tough! Is that because it's new or is it really that much of a PITA? I don't think we'll use it much. When surfing, the transom is under water and super easy to get onto. The front left cushion under the dash that lifts up is also a bit wonky to lift. I'll get used to that, though. I got a complaint from someone in the boat when they tried to open it. My

More shade for the 2021 alpha

Our family wanted more shade in our new boat, wanted to make it look factory and use factory mounting, can set it up and take it down in minutes, the two Biminis zip to gather ..

  7. I don't have a 23' but I think all MB's are similar due to the deep V hull. You need balanced weight for a clean wake at lower speeds. I pull young kids with no problem at 18 mph. Just fill up a little ballast and bleed off some water while underway to balance your weight load. The heavy side will be clean so dump ballast from that side until it cleans up nicely on both and then close the gate.

  8. I just put a deposit down on a B52 23 Alpha. I really want to know what the wakeboard wake looks like. The sales guy said it was great at 23, but washed out easy at lower speeds. My old 2004 B52 did the same thing. My family mostly wakeboards. Should I be looking for another boat or will the B52 provide a great wakeboard wake for learning and landing tricks?

    Wrong color bow handles

Things happen in the build process. While it should have been caught during the quality audit, they probably didn't want to hold the boat any longer than they needed to. That said, live with it for the time being and have it corrected in the off season. A miscolored grab handle is no reason to be without your boat in prime season.

    Pre delivery research

Great video, I watched that a few weeks ago. I was looking for more info for setup that has worked for people on the water. This will be our first surf boat so would love to get familiar with it before it arrives. We are in Nor Cal so dealer trips aren’t a thing with limited water in the lakes. We are keeping it almost three hours away at our lake house in Lake Almanor where there is plenty of water. The lake sits above 4K so would also like recommendations for running it at higher elevations. Thanks.

  12. My FIL has an 2017 axis and I hate the vinyl in that boat I think it will need to be replaced within the next few years. And the cushion padding is soft but it bottoms out quick. The piping in the vinyl is off by 2" between some seats. It looks like shit! I also have no idea why that damn boat alarms everytime the auto bilge kicks on. I love the wave it throws but I hate the interior. Also I prefer the Chevrolet engines in the Malibu/Axis boats. But the MB wave is great and the boats are solid. My F22 is much smoother in rough water than his A22. Not sure how deep the water is you'll be surfi

I just added a post about the tower on my 2016 B52......I am going to be installing the light bar I had on my previous boat (2011 Tomcat). I am hopeful that with the forward sweeping tower that the light wont flood the bow like it did on my 2011. Here is a pic I found of my old boat with light bar......I still giggle every time I see it
