  1. I'm a real fan of red/black/white combos. I like the graphics on our '08, but I would have absolutely designed one of the bottom three if I was in the market this year. Here's one I sent to admin for my two cents worth.

Can't do the dominant black schemes though because the water we play in is way too hard, and would be virtually impossible to clean off at the end of the day. size=320http://www.mbboatowners.com/images/fbfiles/images/2011_x_scheme_white_and_red_w_black.jpg[/img]

  2. If you don't mind me asking, where are you planning to have the tab installed? And have you gotten quotes for the install? I've got an '08 V23. Just purchased the boat over the winter so we don't have much experience, but did do a demo ride late last fall, and didn't experience any porpoising.

  3. Good on ya mate! Glad to know you have an MB on expected arrival. And as for your approach to simply ask, I'm glad that would work for you, but I've spent enough time on this wobbly round orb to know that there is a vast difference in offerings of a client oriented organization, vs. one that is directed by someone of the me generation. It was as much a test for their customer appreciation skills, as it was a desire to receive information I was seeking.

Sadly I can predict that if my experience was shared by others, MB, as a brand in Utah, will ultimately suffer. I find that terribly sad, because I firmly believe there is not a better wakeboard boat to be purchased.

Hope you get some time on the water before your winter sets in.

  4. I am not likely the focus demographic for this style of boat. My wife and I are older, but I'm definitely not a neophyte to boating. We had our grand-daughter with us, and our 21 yr. old son, who should sit right smack in the middle of a group they would love to chat with.

We stood around watching the Reboat reps have little conversations among themselves, all the while simply ignoring us. Not in a rude way, but just seemingly oblivious to the fact we were looking to get some questions answered. My son was even poking around, by looking into the boats, and looking underneath trying to get a response. None came, so as for pricing, after 5 minutes of being ignored I never got a chance to chat with anyone about pricing.

Like I say, this is perhaps a very jaded experience, and maybe I'm the only one who had a like experience ( I would hope so). It's just that when you're new as a sales organization with a particular brand, I would expect the staff to be overly engaging with the public walking by. And I don't know who Shane Stillman is, which is my problem, not his, but like I said I couldn't even get any MB staff to take time to visit.

Wish I could be more positive about Reboats, but I'm still very high on MB.

  5. Went to the Utah Boat Show last night, and sadly was very disappointed at the little effort put forth by Reboats (the Utah dealer for MB in 2011) to engage people and talk about MB boats. Didn't seem to have much interest from the MB reps either.

Still glad I bought my boat at the end of last year, and I'm just glad that SS Marine is still willing to work on MBs even though they don't have the dealership this year.

Reboats needs some seasoning, or I would guess they won't be around for long. If I would have had this type of experience in their showroom, I would have never considered buying a boat they were selling, no matter what brand it was.
