I want to put in GatorStep in the small area where there is carpet. (Not going under in the compartment). I ripped up the rug and did some strapping to remove the old glue. There is a main compartment board in the middle that I have picture (standing vertically) that is smooth and clean. Glue and rug came off pretty easy. My problem is the areas on either side of this compartment piece. It is fiberglass (i think??), and very uneven in areas. Removing the carpet on that middle piece has also created large gaps where the rug used to butt up together. I've read some articles, and can probably slim or raise the middle board to a certain height, and even cut some board to fill in the gaps, but what can I do under the captains chair to make that smooth or even? Another have experience doing this?

Did you find the manual for b52 2005? I'm interested if you are willing to share. Cheers S
