  1. I also go through the zipper with the surf rope. over the top tend to rub on the trailing edge
  2. LOL, MB barely offers parts for their newer models let alone the old stuff. good luck
  3. I had a similar issue last year with my 17 B-52. Engine wouldnt start. couldnt even hear a clicking sound. I too though it was the nuetral safety switch in the throttle was bad as the batteries were all good. Turned out to be a bad starter FWIW..
  4. Could be a leaking shaft seal. When loaded up with ballast the shaft seal could be leaking. WHen the bilge fills with enough water the motor goes into a kind of limp mode. I typically run my bilge pump constantly while surfing to keep the bilge clear.
  5. I did this project several years ago. here is a thread with a few tips and tricks and lots of pictures. good luck! 😎 Carpet Replacement with SeaDeck - Maintenance & Technical Discussion - MB Boat Owners
  6. I have run the wake logic controller for several years now. Great product full of features. Last year I built a custom switch panel for it. The blue switch is a simple on//off that switches the controller between auto and manual and the red and green switches are momentary on/off switches to control the gates. 😎
  7. +1 for the 2247. Love this prop. I have tried many different props on my 17 B-23 and this prop is money! although it has a 14.25" pitch the .150 cup really gives this prop great bite. I typically boat at 5500' and run about 4500# of ballast and this thing get the boat up quick and runs about 3800RPM at surf speed. I also have been enjoying an average of around 4 GPH over the last year or so of running with this prop 😎
  8. Lake Chelan WA - 2 weeks Lake McConaughy - NE Lake Pueblo - CO Cherry Creek and Chatfield Reservoirs - Home lakes on the weekdays 😎
  9. Looks like its at the Portland Dealership now and they seem pretty proud of it 😎 https://portland.craigslist.org/clc/bod/d/west-linn-2014-mb-sports-b52-23/7381681805.html
  10. LOL, Yes I fixed it last year however the cables snapped again this year. Terrible design and crappy cables. I have 2 sets of the 4 cables on order (decided to get a spare set) with the local dealership however its been close to 6 weeks since ordering and still nothing. I call the dealership (Action Watersports in Denver) at least once a week and get the same runaround story that MB has ordered cables from the manufacturer but has not received them
  11. 2017 B-52 / 23' 440 Raptor 5200' Elevation (Denver) Typically running around 4900# of ballast Last year I ran a 3093 (15X12.5 x .165) and was somewhat disappointed in the performance. Surf speed RPM was around 4300. This year I swapped in a 2247 (15X14.25X.150) Loving this prop so far. Dropped to about 3800RPM and gained quite a bit of top end speed (36mph from around 30). Boat comes out of the hole great and due to the lower RPM's runs quieter as well. So far I am getting around 5.5 GPH as well. Very happy with this prop! highly recommend. 😎
  12. The 2775 you are replacing is a 15"X12.5" The prop you ordered (2277) is a 15"x15.75" - This is not comparable to your old prop as it has quite a bit more pitch which will give you more top end but less pulling power or torque out of the hole especially at higher elevations or heavy ballast loads. The 2773 they sent you is 15"x13" with a .105 cup. this prop is very comparable to your 2775.
  13. love me some night surfing. Washington State prohibits from 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise.
