  1. Does anyone have a schematic for a 2002 190 Plus? I'm troubleshooting a repeating Ignition Control Module failure (Engine cranks but no spark), and all indications point to a shorted gray tachometer wire. But I'm not seeing a short with my meter. I'm hoping to see the complete diagram so I can troubleshoot more completely. Thanks, RickG
  2. I'm troubleshooting a no start condition on my 2002 PCM equipped 190 Plus. Does anyone have a schematic or can it be confirmed if there are two or three electrical relays? Mine only has two behind the Engine Control Module, but the manual says there should be three. I have good fuel pressure (30psi with a throttle body system), but it's not generating spark. I'm currently suspecting/testing the pickup coil and the ignition control module but wanted to see everything in a schematic to see if I'm missing anything obvious. Thanks very much, RickG
  3. I've noticed that my ski pole on my 2002 190 Plus moves around a bit. I've tightened everything down to spec but compared to my buddy's Ski Nautique and MC's, it's quite noticeable. Is this normal?
  4. Looking for a dashboard schematic for a 2002 MB 190Plus. Engine is the 5,7L H.O. (PCM) Last weekend my dash went completely dead and I found a blown 15a fuse for the blue wire under the dash. Cleaned the contacts, replaced the fuse and all was well for the remainder of the weekend, but my electrical background says fuses don't blow normally so I wanted to be prepared in case I need to troubleshoot further. P.S. no response from MB. thanks, Rick G
  5. it should move a little as does the ski pole on my '02 190 Plus. However, check the through bolts that hold the pylon into the structure and then check the mounting structure bolts. The torque settings on mine are 90 ft. lbs. so yours may differ. Rick G
  6. I have a 2002 190 Plus with about 600 hours on it. I normally grease the rudder at the beginning of the season via the zirk fitting under the motor box, which has a nice braided line that goes back the rudder. (Slick!) Last summer I noticed that the steering was getting more difficult as well as noticed that grease is not expelling from the rudder bushing under the boat as it was before. Before I put the boat in service this summer (on my lift) I was hoping to address this by looking at the rudder system more closely. Can anyone tell me: How is the rudder/steering cable system serviced from inside the boat? What needs to be removed? Fuel tank? Motor box? What is the proper grease to use for the rudder bushing? thank you so much, RickG
