Anyone been having problems getting warranty work approved ?
We have 12' B-52, and in early spring took it to dealer to have some warranty work completed (carpet coming loose,windshield gasket falling out ,screw cover at base of windshield shrinking, and the tower bases loose and twisting out of position ). After 2 month of our boat sitting up there and phone calls to dealer every week , the service manager is telling me that they were not getting any communication back from MB. He tells me he did the work on our boat once it was approved but had to use parts from a different boat in stock as the parts for ours never showed up , and he got us our boat in time for our lake opening date .
Now here we go again. July 4th weekend, the engine cover gas strut/support pulls itself loose from the cover . Take it to the dealer who takes the pictures and documents the issue and tells me the hinge is bent along the back . It's now 9-1-14 and in the same situation. Phone calls to the dealer and he keeps telling me there is no response from MB.
This doesn't sound like the customer service I had heard MB was so good for when researched and bought it . Is this MB or the dealer ???
