  1. I got a call from jaxon a couple weeks ago. He told me MB actually has my replacement material authorized and its "ordered" thats a step in the right direction, but I have no idea what that actually means.
  2. Possible software update would be my guess.
  3. Id say charge them up. They are probably fine. I do my impeller every other year. If you use the boat they will last years, but its so cheap and easy. peace of mind.
  4. between my 2017 and my 2020 I have had probably 5 or 6 replacements. Exile is always awesome about it and stands behind their product. But that unit is not very reliable In my experience. But when it works its fantastic
  5. sounds like low voltage. when in crank are you able to measure the battery voltage?
  6. its probably that little cabin button on the zld. "finger it really fast on and off" when mine was going bad, it would do that and it would start working.
  7. jaxon assured me this won't happen, as a claim has been submitted. But I would be pretty angry with MB as a 2 time customer
  8. My 2017 had a 440 and i used the same prop. But compared to my 2020 with the 400 I believe the gearing was lower in the 2017. (both 23 footers) with the 2020 400 I cruise at 25 mph around 3k ish if I remember( its been a long winter). these boats are meant to pull weight, so you will sacrifice top end. This has been a discussion, but IMO the raptor likes the higher rpms, I am surfing about 4000 rpms, but lower if I can get a lot of weight in the bow. you will top out around 32 mph around 5600 rpms. I think I may have been mistaking on the 3093. But there is one that is recommended that is a 15.5 diameter that will give you more hole shot, but people are adding a guard to the hull to prevent pitting. IMO I like the 2247 because it is common and easy to find, and I like good deals, I see 2247 used for 400 give or take. The 3093 will have a higher pitch, so you will have lower rpms at higher speeds, but you may have issues getting up to surf speeds and have to dump more weight. Based on my 5-6 years of boating with MB, I see no reason to change from the 2247
  9. I boat in utah ( about 5500-6100 ft) I like the 2247. I have heard good things with the 3093, but never used one myself. Sometimes i have to let out the water, but if your weighted in the front it gets up to speed and keeps the rpms low. its usually if I have a full crew, The wave is always big anyway. IMO
  10. Yup I have upholstery issues from day one on my 2020. I have dropped it off all winter for the last 3 seasons, just to have them say they are waiting on MB. sadly I think a lot my issues are just going to get a cheap patch job, since the correct fix would be to replace entire panels, which I don't see MB wanting to do, especially if the color doesn't match, it would need the entire thing redone. I as well trust jaxon, eventually , it will get done. Id rather have my boat at my house over the winter tho, everytime I get it back its just completely trashed. I always sweep the snow off, have my poles installed and use a air mover. make sure its tight for the winter nap.
  11. Jason is still in the boat selling business. Jaxon is great, and I do like that they actually have an electronic system to keep track of history and service work. I love the boat shack, but I am coming on year 3 and 90 percent of the warranty issues Ive had since the first season. still havent been done. I am not worried for the boatshack has always taken care of me. I believe this is an MB issues. They tell me MB is hard to work with on warranty work. A lot of times they have just fixed my stereo issues in the past on their dime, to not have to deal with MB.
  12. if you get on indmar website you can find the maintenance schedule. But If i remember its all the drive fluids, check shaft alignment.
  13. what about actual lead?
  14. that mold/dirt would have me buggin.
  15. what is the price on lead if you are able to find it?
  16. Ive seen charcoal on seafoam and it looks fine. But never aqua with seafoam. Might clash a bit.
  17. Cant comment on gas mileage, since ive only owned MB, But IMO I wouldnt worry about wave adjustment. I literally just fill all the bags and the wave is perfect every time on my 2020 23 footer. loundess? Ive heard many say MB is louder then others. But the stereo is louder.
  18. 23 has a bow bag, but it fits nice in the front point. you still have all your bow storage
  19. I love the cool touch. it feels amazing. But a huge downfall is the material is very thin.
  20. I think jordanelle has the best ramp in the state. It gets so busy, but it runs very smooth
  21. I am not at all worried. we may be in a "drought" but if you noticed, deer creek was full my march last year. My guess is they drained deer creek to help with the great salt lake so we get maximum lake effect as possible. The river was roaring, so they were dumping it pretty fast. We had pretty much all lakes full this year besides jordanelle, which turned out to be just fine as well.
  22. start with checking power at the starter solenoid. If you don't have power in crank position then work your way back. If you do have power(battery voltage). then you probably have a bad starter or ground connection.
  23. Seen a post on the facebook group of a guy selling his boat cause he ordered the "first ever b52 25" due in october. "
