  1. This thread is the reason I remain an MB customer. No other boat dealer in our area can provide such convenient service. I need to pick up a 2012 so Jamie can keep up to speed with product development . . . Jaime - I will be calling you sometime in October!
  2. I don't find heavily waxed/drawn on eyebrows all that sexy. That is only my humble opinion . . . no offense intended to anyone in the forum.
  3. Glad this thread is back. I hope he hasn't gone missing . . .
  4. I have been thinking for awhile that the dash speaker makes a lot of sense. Glad it worked out
  5. Wall Street Journal had a front page article on this lake over the weekend. Did boat traffic go up?
  6. That is absolutely ridiculous . . . in a good way! Can I ask a stupid question? Do you guys get a lot of condensation in the storage compartments? I do and it cannot be good for the amps and other electric stuff. What do you all do about it?
  7. gday. Enjoy your boat. My wife is from Toowoomba . . . not sure if I should be boasting about that . . .
  8. At least your video didn't begin with opera type music, a slow mo shot of a kid picking up his board and walking down a dock, then a shot of a gas can filling the boat . . . Pete, you kept it real my man.
  9. Not really. How is it getting in there . . . people getting on and off? Or another way?
  10. Christ, my boat now looks a bit older and crustier. Thanks MB. Awesome looking boat!
  11. Got it. As usual, I have little to add to this. When the situation calls for more weight - I add ballast via tsunami pump and bags.
  12. forgive me but I have no idea what piggybacking is.
  13. The last two people I taught I dropped the speed down to 20 mph and let the rope all the way out (85') on my line. Since they werent ready to jump, i preferred to give them the most amount of space between the wakes to cut around on . . . this seemed to work well. The last guy asked to be brought in closer on his second set - and after a wipe out - asked me to drop him all the way out again. that is what I do. When it is time to jump, leave them out there to do one wake work . . . and when they are ready for w2w, bring them in to 60 or 65'
  14. I used to have problems getting my 2007 on plane. We'd have maybe 3-4 adults on board and I would move them to the front with the same results as you. I thought maybe the planing issue was an over full gas tank . . . then I discovered that not taking the plug out and leaving my boat in a field (with cover on) accumulated an amazing amount of water in the bilge. Now, I always drain the boat on the ramp before plugging it and then dropping in. I have never had a planing issue again with full ballast. also, i have no wake plate and the original prop.
  15. even more hilarious mental image. . . thanks pete
