  1. “My dealer was told the same thing. Tried it on my '16 warning me I may need to bring it back to revert to the older software if I had problems with the new. Worked perfectly for me and is a huge improvement over the old.” So switching to the new software helped your wave? It’s a constant battle on our boat. Every time it wants something drastically different. Today took an hour of messing with it and it still sucked. Best wave today was 500 pounds in the bow, hard tanks full, goody locker about 90%, regular locker 75% (listing a little), and 60% cavitation plate at 8.5mph. Loooong day of messing with it for an hour of surfing. Burned $100 in fuel just adjusting
  2. As mentioned in a prior post, the swim platform ruins the wave when the PnP bags are full. Yes bleeding off some weight obviously helps, but was wondering if anyone had thoughts on switching the swim platform out
  3. Pretty close!! Filling up this morning, I’ll let you know
  4. Lol, yeah, I burned 1/4 tank after 20 min of surfing. Bye bye $80
  5. Oh cool!! I’ll have the dealer work on it. I was wondering why in manual mode when I attempted to put the plate down at idle, it would override and default back to zero. I’m still tweaking it but it’s getting better. Too much weight causes all sorts of problems. Right now best wave is hard tanks full, PNP bags about 75%, center plate about 50%, and 650# in the nose
  6. Got it, ok that makes sense! Had an awesome wake going yesterday, fell and by the time the boat picked me up it was gone. I had started surfing while the bags were filling in and by the time the boat came back around they were full and the swim deck was completely destroying the Surf wave. I drained out some water from both sides and got a decent wave back, but not like it was the first time. I guess just some trial and error figuring out exactly how full the bags should be. Half full seemed great, completely full is all bad
  7. I was gonna suggest the 2249...great prop! It’s a 15-14.25 though and the motor would really struggle pulling that much prop in surf weight. The guys at ACME are truly the geniuses at this. I’d stick with whatever they recommend.
  8. Which engine? Hard to recommend a prop without knowing how much power is pushing it.
  9. I thought the bags filled from the hard tanks, thus after filling the bags, wouldn’t the hard tanks be emptied by the volume consumed by the bags?
  10. Do you fill the bags while the hard tank gates are still open? Or close the gates, fill the bags, then reopen the gates to refill the hard tanks?
  11. 2016 B52 23. My factory hard tanks fill in about 60 seconds, the PNP bags in the locker take about 20 minutes. Anybody have different fill times? I’ve tried filling them with the hard tank valves opened and closed, doesn’t seem to make a difference. They fill, just very very slowly. Is there a better pump that can be upgraded?
  12. Aux button on mine as well...super annoying!! Obviously a flaw in the head unit design if everyone is having the same issue.
  13. Got it, I'll adjust them while I'm in there cutting out that weed/rope I somehow wrapped around the prop shaft :/
  14. With ballast tanks full, and PnP full, in surf mode port or starboard, cavitation plate seems to make no difference, the wave sucks. Just acquired a 650 front bag, but haven’t run it yet
