  1. Nice... Hopefully, they'll offer different spring rates for those gas springs. Once you add some Rev10s, bimini, lights, and racks, it's not gonna go back up that easy. Still concerned about the rope hanging up on the racks, but the two point tower is definitely the way to go.
  2. Ian, you'll get rid of 99% of the spam if you add a question/answer feature in the registration. I use ("What color is the sky?" - question / "blue" - answer) on my forums. There should be a Kunena plug-in for that. Other Stuff: - Is there a way to turn off auto e-mail notifications for when someone responds to a thread? Can't seem to find it. - A message preview button would be nice. - Can't seem to add an avatar.
  3. Ian, could you up the number of posts per page? Currently, it's only 6 posts, which makes for a lot of extra clicking.
  4. I like the look of the reverse tower, but I certainly hope it's not the proposed one in the pic. In addition to the concerns above, that thing is gonna sway in the breeze.
  5. Mbski wrote: Mike Brendel is not a fan of wake plates. So, you're correct about the fix. Shane added a significant amount of additional hook to the back of the hull and moved the prop and rudder further back on the boat. Thus, less need for a wake plate and a huge reduction in bow rise. However, I would still get one to just give you additional control over shaping the wake.
  6. somepeteguy, you probably shouldn't post your profile pic in your signature line any more...hee,hee. Kneeboarding has progressed waaay more than you may realize. Check out kneeboardworld.com or do a search on guys like Tom Kohl or Mike Marchand or Frankie Panno or myself, Chad Beery. But back to the topic...The MB was amazing! Best stock wake ever. Even for surfing. Looking forward to having one of these in my driveway next season. Thanks to all who made it out and made it a great time, even though it was a bit cold. Major kudos to Shane for making it all happen!
  7. Awesome news! I’ve got the boat for the weekend and you’re invited to come out and get a pull behind this sweet machine before the season comes to a close. A brand new 2012 MB 21 Wide Body! We’ll be doing wakeboard, kneeboard and surfing sessions on Lake Minnetonka or a lake nearby(TBD). You can also try out a skim or surf style Triple X wakesurfer or an O’Brien Decade wakeboard. PM me, or e-mail me at chad@wakeskishop.com, if you want to come out and ride and I’ll schedule in a time slot for you. Let me know if you are just interested in riding or if you are seriously considering purchasing this boat. Also, let me know if you’ll be wakeboarding, kneeboarding or surfing, or a combination of the three and if Saturday or Sunday works best. We’ll load up the boat and tear up the lake! http://www.mbboatowners.com/images/fbfiles/images/mb_wss.jpg[/img]
  8. Erickson Marine, in Hastings, Minnesota, is having a demo day this Saturday (7/23) and they are comparing a 2012 MB Sports 21WB to a Cobalt 23SS. Cobalt boats are nice, but since this is a comparison for the best wakeboard boat, it's kind of a no-brainer. If you're in the market for a new boat and haven't checked out an MB yet, this is a must! I plan to be there. 9. My first impression is that it\'s a bit plain. I like the colors of your original site. Could you add graphics at the top, rather than a black bar? A \'home\' link/button is missing. On the \'about us\' page, the paragraph format needs to be touched up. It runs into the right side banner. You gonna fix this site up too? Let me know if you need help with it.
  10. Nice attempts. You need to be more agressive with your turn and try using your left hand. Next time you try, squat down and reach into the water with both hands, not just your right, and pull away from the boat. As you come around, point at the boat with your left hand. These actions will help prevent you from falling backwards. Also really drive that board around with your feet. Don\'t just rely on your upper body movements to spin.
