  1. Racer, I have a 2014 F22 that needs its cable replaced and so far I’m having the same issues as you but on mine both the long black rectangle of the cable and the steering part it attaches to both say “do not disassemble - replace as a unit.” - did yours say the same? Also, under the motor, the sleeve the rod-end of the cable screws into, I’m unable to get the nut off - the sleeve is spinning in its mount as I turn the nut. How solid is this sleeve? Can I put a wrench on it or do I need to worry about squeezing it too hard and collapsing it? i also can’t dine a part number on my cable…
  2. My cable is seized up (sounds like it’s catching inside the boat-mounted sleeve that covers the rod end of the cable) and I have some questions as it relates to replacement. Most of the replacements I’ve seen only include the cable and rectangle that attaché to the dash steering mechanism. But when looking under my dash, both the s silver steering mechanism and the black long rectangle have warnings not to detach them from each other. So should I be looking for a replacement that has both or really just the cable and long black gear box? I have so far been unable to find a part number on the cable itself. thanks!
  3. Which Valterra part number did you use? Ignore - I found the posts.
  4. Does anyone know the size or even the part number for this? I need a new one. (bonus points if you have install instructions)
  5. I searched but didn’t come up with anything and I don’t have the boat yet. can someone tell me the Horizontal distance between the bow and the leading edge of the propeller? I have a 2014 F22 if it makes a difference. Thanks!
  6. So I've been speaking with gatorstep (great folks!) and the base template for 2014 F22 includes a lot of places that have no "steps" currently - like the pickle fork area. Do folks find these are needed? Does it make things look cluttered instead of clean? Are there some areas you'd gatorstep (that comes from the MB factory with nothing but that is included in gatorstep template) for sure and others you wouldn't?
