To anyone who hasn't made the trip, Powell is an epic destination and must be experienced in person, photos don't do it justice. Was browsing through the forums today and stumbled across this. We'll donate Boat Bling product for all attendees. That is pprobably the only thing that will hold me back. i have some friends that are willing to make the trip if i go. I will have to talk with the wife (out of town) and see if she has anything planned. I think my kids head back to school around Aug 26th so moving this to early/mid Aug might work... The Donfather Posted March 22, 2015 Report Share Posted March 22, 2015 Since this doesn't seem to be happening. There is still time to make the Shasta Meetup. I know it is a little far but should be worth it. we have 14 guaranteed boats and 36 people coming. I talked to a lot of MB owners at the Sacramento Boat show last weekend and I know the number will climb. I thin k we will have probably 20+ boats show. The raffle keeps growing daily. A good friend Gary and his wife have scored some awesome prizes. I am planning at this point in time just to hang on dock all day Saturday and meet and greet people and sell raffle tickets and get that all set up for Saturday night. We we also given a pavilion area where everyone can gather bring their own food and eat together and we will do the raffle. I would love for you guys to make it to ours. I would love to help where I can, I just can't take this project myself. Been thinking of doing a local meet up with some bbq and good times. Would love to have a huge event in Powell though. EDIT: Now I have been asked if I would like to do something after the season with my LP marina. This might be the chance to get something going.
