Mine are on the backside of our seats.

Few extra for reference. Last pic are the timers.8580ec5263adb240987954a898371897.jpg8e862950ba526185d14306ebcf0a048a.jpg6fbd07a629a6140e3fe3d916dadbde37.jpg

It seems like they would be loud on the seat back.

Thought I would throw these pics here to help others to find another way to mount their pumps.  I build risers to raise the pumps up about 6".  I also inserted helicoils into the 3/4" HDPE risers to be able to bolt the pump instead of screwing it in.  This helps when changing impellers to not mess up the holes into the stringers.  Screws strip out holes all the time.  The pumps fit great out of the way above any water and easier to service.

Wired them up using Wakemakers timers as well.  Looking forward to flipping a switch to fill my 650s in the rear lockers.

Nice work on the placement. Impeller replacement is a B on these. With the impeller cover on the bottom and flathead screws...

I agree. That’s why I figured I’d make it easy to just pull the pump by unbolting it and used screw clamps instead of the crimp clamps that I used on all of the bag and upper fittings. It sucks no matter what.

nice work. I had ballast kings done at the factory on my 2019 in lieu of the aerator pumps . They put them horizontally in the same location. Bow bag has a timer on it as well, but it only takes 3 mins to fill/empty so I will prob end up just shutting it off manually as the min setting on the timer is 5min. Id say its a good safety feature, but you can't miss the sound of the pump running.
