Birddog7.62
Anyone run into this? seems like it would be all over that cabin speakers but I only have it in the bow.
Wylietunes
Are they power by their own amp? Technically, this can be one half of a 4 chnl amp thats also powering the main cabin. Do they have their own pre-amp signal supply or is it shared with all the cabin speakers? This starts to isolate the issue.
Birddog7.62
the javelin powers all the internal speakers and the sub. so they should have the same pre amp signal. the towers are powered by a single XM 30.2 running at 1 Ohm. thats why it has me scratching my head. maybe the speaker wires are running along side an unshielded 12V power source? Wylietunes
So you've eliminated everything upstream of the amp. odds are slim to zero the noise is entering in the speaker wires.
Couvmerk
The bows are bridged to the front.(I am going off memory so please correcting me). So if your fronts are making a racket then you should make sure your connections on the amp are ok . Mine were cranked down so hard on some of them that they split the speaker wire and I redid all of the connections to make sure it was behaving. Also caught that my RCA channels were backwards between boat speakers and tower speakers .
