I’ve been reading but haven’t found a clear answer. Can you use the factory switch system controller and actuators for slappers? Has anyone done it and did it work well? Thanks I have a 2015 f22 with the gen 2 surf system on it now

Noticed slight shutter at take off when surfing fully loaded at the end of last season. No sign of shutter at higher speeds or ballast empty. Prop in good condition, dial indicator true in shaft but drive coupling tight at 6 o”clock position. When trying to align the transmission mounts, found 3 bolts holding the mount brackets to the fiberglass stringer are loose and pull out by hand. Are these anchor bolts secured directly in the fiberglass or is there a way to gain access underneath to plate and add nuts? Left message with MB and waiting reply. thats my worry too. They dragged it out for 3 years. currently my boat is in a bunch off pieces. I was told they were gonna pick it up and do the work in 2 weeks. That was in feb. lol

Any chance I can snag one of the gear from the old actuator you have?

I am hoping they will replace my whole interior like your boat, I am worried the colors won't match due to sun exposure if they don't. It sounded like they may not, but we will see. The piping, stitching, and foam in my seats had some issues.
