Can anyone post what filter I need and what oil I should use and how much? I have read I guess its slow, so I plan on letting it drain from drain hose out the back overnight. shadowrider Posted June 4, 2019 Author Report Share Posted June 4, 2019 Okay I have a 2018 MB B52 with the 440. Recommended oil is Motorcraft 5w-30 semisynthetic. *8qts. Filter is 501022s or you can use Volvo 8692305. Oil drain line is pretty much worthless. I wouldn't waste your time unless you have a pump. Just barely a trickle. I ended up using an oil extractor out of the dip stick and was able to get 7.5 qts out. Filter change is easy, just need a large wrench to remove cartridge. Put 7.5qts back in and its top of the full mark. Hopefully this saves someone time. Suggest removing side panel to fill with oil as its easier to get the fill.
