  1. My ballast gates on my '14 B-52 open just fine every time so far, however, sometimes when I close the RH gate the light stays on on the switch as if it it's still open. I figured it's a loose wire as it is intermittent sometimes. Not worth taking in for warranty but just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue.
  2. Curious about the sound issue smokin...I have 4 rev 8's on the tower wet sounds all around and mine sounds great. I did have to get into the amps and adjust the outputs. They set them very low from factory I'm guess, just turned the gains up til I was happy with the sound quality/level. And my biased opinion is for the B-52
  3. Shawndoggy, what kind of bags do you have? I wanna get the pro x 1100's but I don't know if they'll fit in the lockers????
  4. So I hit about 22 hrs and went ahead and did the service myself...I was plesantly surprised at how easy it was. Engine oil change was super fast. I only got a quart out of the v drive (which I think is about all it holds) but I only got about 1 1/2 qts out of the transmission. I just couldn't get any more out. Does this sound about right? I put back exactly what I got out. Put about 8 hrs on it this weekend and ran perfect as usual.
  5. Jealous! Haven't been home in a long time. Looking to move back there in a few years, where are you taking your boat to? We used to go to Patagonia but it's pretty small for wakeboarding
  6. That's nasty!!! I bet that flight is legit!
  7. I want that wake as well, that would be perfect!
  8. I've been fighting this same issue with my B52. I'm getting a very nice size wake but it's close to the boat. We're going out tomorrow and i've got it down to 2 things to make our surf experience better....1. our board is a beginner board and we're not beginners, 2. I think the speed we're going is too slow to run a longer wave. I'm going to set it around 11.5-12 and mess with those speeds. I'm gonna try to get some video with the go pro as well.
  9. I'm just about there with you, I feel like I spend more time monkeying with the head unit to get it right than I do listening to it. It's not the most userfriendly item. That one button makes it annoying scrolling through to find exactly what you want. First world problems, hate em. haha
  10. Sadly, I'm from Tucson and miss it tremedously. But yea, I bought a big tub of DampRid and a fan. I'm changing the oil tonight for this weekend so we'll see how well the fan and the damprid did at keeping the moisture out. Thanks for the jabs and advice.
  11. So I live in Arkansas where the humidity level is through the roof...Today it's going to peak around 90% with temps getting around 85*. We've gotten a lot of rain here so that's not helping the situation either. So last sunday, the boat got drenched, I mean there was standing water in the bow. Sunday afternoon we vaccummed the water out and and hit the carpet under the seats the best we could. Today, the woman took the cover off and see said it's wet again in there. I'm assuming it's like a greenhouse effect going on. Does anyone have any bright ideas how to combat this?
  12. So my magnetic carpet is very nice, thick and durable, however I have two issues with it...1. The magnets on the carpet don't stay on with whatever MB used. I tried some sealant and that didn't work so I'm working on another solution, 2. My carpet STINKS!!! I live in AR and it's pretty humid so I pull the carpet out every Sunday. It smells pretty bad, I tried cleaning the bottom with soapy wTer and drying it off. Anyone else have these first world problems?
  13. Very nice, excited to see how it cleans up the wake.
  14. Thanks for the tips man. I'll gather it all up and knock this out this weekend. I did one oil change on my jetski last year and it was a royal pain in the butt. I have a pump so hopefully it'll all mate up and work. Thanks again for the advice fellas, digging this forum for sure!
  15. I was just about to post a topic about throwing some pics/info etc... on their surfing ventures. We're still new to the wake surfing but we're getting it down pretty well. It is a learning process for what speed, ballast weight etc...we're running around 10.3mph with a full tank of gas, about 1200lbs of ballast in one tank and 3 people on that side. We get a pretty good wake just trying to fine tune it. I have a few pics on my phone that I'll try to load up. Bill, what size/type board do you use?
  16. So, I've been doing some searching on the friendly internet and not having much luck with finding tips or some pointers on changing the oil in my boat....So I have a B52 with a 5.7L Indmar engine, I haven't taken much time to look at. From what I've tried to piece together, I'm getting that the side compartment walls come out and then everything should pretty much be accessible? Can this be verified? I also thought I read somewhere on the web that MB has a line stored in there that you can hook up and drain overboard? I guess I really need to just get in there and find it. Any pointers would be great, thanks fellas! Steve
  17. Never been to ouchita but we want to go. Got a buddy that has a place up there so we'll be there at least once this year
  18. Thanks everyone, we're loving it and prolly will for years to come. It's been raining and will continue through the weekend so we're having adult temper tantrums in our house but oh well. As for my screen name, it actually has nothing to do with the beer really, my last name looks very close to Budweiser so that's about it. Haha. Wish there were more mb owners out here though. Stuckey and grimes xtreme marine is getting them out here and doing a great job, so hopefully there will be more out here soon.
  19. Greetings all, just wanted to stop by, introduce myself and drop a few pics. My name is Steve, my better half and I have recently purchased a 2014 B52 23'. We love it so far and she's already nailing her backflips on this big wake we can generate. Absolutely love the boat, I feel like I got much more from this than some of the pricier boats. Anyways, I'll be seeing you around, here are a few pics....
