  2. I just upgraded the PP system on my '06 B52 with a new Stargazer GPS version. The display on my original unit was goin in and out. Cost was about $900 which included a new gauge. The install was very easy and the improvement is amazing. Best money I've spent on upgrades so far. Give Gary at PP a call. I ordered it on Thursday and had it Monday.
  3. Sorry to hijack the thread. I have an ‘06 as well and love that Bimini top. Any idea who makes it or where I could get one like it? Thanks, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I actually just replaced the bungees on the existing racks. It was pretty simple. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. RAM Mount X Grip with glass suction mount. I’ve not found a better mount! I use them on my boat, cars, and motorcycles. I never have to worry about my phone as they are very secure. Also it fits many different sized phones. Todd Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. I have an ‘06 non team edition. PM me and I’ll try to help you out. Todd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The previous owner tried to go that route and ended up fixing it himself. Knock on wood, I have had no issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The previous owner of my ‘06 had a similar issue. He fixed it by applying a fiberglass patch over the seam that was leaking. Depending on how comfortable you are with fiberglass, you could do it yourself or find a company in your area that repairs fiberglass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I like your setup. Could you share how you wired the two volt meters? Thanks, Todd Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I believe the 2008 may be like my 2006 in that the ballast system uses hard tanks as apposed to soft. The tanks are molded into the hull under the carpeted on either side of the engine. Open the engine hatch and look to see if there are two pumps aft of the engine. There should be hoses running from the pumps to fittings in the carpeted storage areas either side of the engine.... and as Hyperryd said, there should be 2 drain plugs in the transom as well. 11. I ordered 4 grey on yellow and am good with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I posted this in the technical section but it may be better responded to here. I have made a deal to purchase a 2006 B52 V23 from a private individual subject to a “sea trial”. The current owner is the original purchaser and the boat looks in very good condition. I have been on it while it was on a trailer but have not been out on the water yet. My question is what should I look (or lookout) for when I take it for a test ride? I have had numerous boats over the years; my last being a MasterCraft ProStar 205 which I sold about 9 years ago. This will be my first MB, however, I am familiar with the brand and saw the boat when new. I just want to make sure I cover all my bases before handing over the money. (I'll share pictures once the deal is done.) Thanks in advanced for your help. Tj Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
