  1. Hi All, Just got a new to me 2015 F22 Tomcat and had a few questions. 1. Carpet on interior storage compartments of boat appears to be falling down in the corners. Is there a preferred spray (3M?) that everyone likes/uses? 2. I have a small slice in the engine cover panel. Boat was purchased sight unseen but overall very clean. What is the best way to fix this? Hire a professional? Silicon glue? 3. Swim deck appears to have been re-glued on the edge at some point. Is there an adhesive that everyone likes? Was hoping for something that is semi permanent. 4. I was also interested in purchasing some of the interior vinyl material just incase I needed to reupholster something down the line. Is this easy to get materials from MB? I left them a VM but have not heard back. Has anyone done this? Is a 2015 too old? 5. Looking for a Wetsounds Syn2 if anyone has an old one laying around. The stainless cover is the one I am looking for. 6. Anyone have thoughts on the Fresh Air Exhaust on this boat? Is it worth the investment in your opinion?
  2. I could use some opinions on this F22 color combo. The primary is Pearl White with Vapor Blue underneath along with powder coated black logos. It's subtle but classic look and really pops with the black logos. The interior is True Blue and a lot of it. I love blue, but i'm undecided on this interior. The dealer said this boat really pops on the water.
  3. Needing a new prop. 2014 F22, 350 with 1.5 trans (I think). With factory full, 800's in the lockers, 600ish in the bow, a few hundred pounds of stereo, slapper deployed, 5 person crew, and 585ft elevation, she will only get up to 9mph at about 3200 RPM. Running a 2249 now (will probably sell when I get the new one). ACME recommends a 2419. Found a pretty good deal on a 2079, but I'm running a 15" now, so don't really want to go smaller. I usually cruise at about 30mph, not sure what top speed is, maybe 38-40ish. With factory plus bow bag, usually run ~3000 rpm at surf speed. What are you guys running? How much weight? What RPM at surf speed? Cruise speed and RPM? Top speed? Anyone looking to get rid of a 2419 or buy a 2247, let me know.
  4. Hello all, just picked up our new to us 2014 F22 Tomcat last week. Love how roomy it is compared to our soon to be sold 2002 moomba LSV. We've had it out a couple time already and still getting use to it. Definitely a different animal. Noticed the trim plate always retracts when I shut off the key. Is there a reason for this? Can it be bypassed? I'm sure I'll have many more questions as time goes on.
  5. Boat is finally home! Not without it's drama... I'm happy to welcome my F22. For those with time/ interest in a quick story, let me tell you why I'm excited: First, I bought this boat in late fall and already 'winterized' from the dealer. I actually traveled pretty far to purchase, but it was all in the name of getting the right boat. In spring, I learned that a mistake was made on draining the manifolds and the boat sat in the shop during April and May. Through some effort (and help from MB Sports and Indmar), I finally got the seller to agree to fault, and was able to get a local MB Dealer to move forward with repairs. Engine was pulled, and manifolds were replaced. I got it back last weekend, but again, more issues... After about 20mins on the lake, the boat started overheating. Additionally, one of the ballast gates was stuck open so I was a one legged lame duck, just floating about. Fortunately, my local dealer (*Shout out to Aqua Sports Marine) are a bunch bad@sses and figured it out with some quick turnaround. Thanks to Jeff and Don for the top-notch service... I couldn't be happier. I put a couple hours on the boat last night, and it's everything I wanted it to be. I'm happy to join the MB family... Finally!
  6. We were able to pick up the new F22 in between our daughters basketball games on Saturday. Craig Emerton and the Texas Mastercraft team made it very quick and easy to get in and get the boat without missing a game. We took it out on Sunday to the local lake for it's maiden voyage and it was everything so far that we were looking for. Still have a lot to learn to set it up properly, but most of that will come when the water is warmer.
  7. Our boat was just posted on facebook... or at least we are assuming it is ours. It is due in Texas this week.
