  1. They have wake-surfing in the Mediterranean now... only $30 for an awesome pull!
  2. 2015, Gen2 Surf Tabs (AKA Switch). Gen1 tabs were boxy, Gen2 are a bit more foxy. GSA is different.
  3. Tried to measure at the sandbar but it wasn't that easy. Anyway, we came up with 23 inches of draft when anchored for F22. I wouldn't be surprised if the 22" rating is accurate. I have 30" of water behind my house and have no issues driving in and out daily.
  4. Alright... thanks for all the tips! Stock ballast is killing it (IMHO). This pic is 3 people surf side, lightest person in the front, heaviest person in the rear corner. 11mph, Gen2 tab deployed, no trim tab, and I let off a few hundred pounds of ballast on non-surf side. Still looking forward to an off-season upgrade... but I have to say for anyone looking... this boat is VERY surf-ready with stock alone.
  5. Bump... I'm looking at 1100's and 750's. Why does everyone go 1100's and fill to ~750 instead of just getting the 750?
  6. How did you get the interior template for Gator Step? Expensive?
  7. I'm guilty here... but am I the only one that thinks the Search function on this forum is borderline un-usable?
  8. Maybe I'll look into some ballast. A lot of people on the forum run 1100's ~1/2-3/4 full. Would I be better off just buying 750's? Also does that required a prop up from stock, measly 900' elevation?
  9. Isn't the F22 a spawn from the old F23 platform? (Ie, shouldn't it be similar wake performance)
  10. Both stock full, Gen2 tab enabled.... maybe a little center tab to clean it up. 2 people in front, 2 people on surf side back. (Looks worse with all the chop... been windy for a week)
  11. Awesome tip at pointing the board at the boat's corner!! A couple of us finally tossed the rope and legit surfed this weekend. Pic of the wave as promised... no pic of surfing because I either drove or surfed and my friends are apparently lame
  12. Thanks for the replies. I'm riding a Ronix Marshmellow 5'4 (insert jokes here). Researched that it's a good beginner board and after I outgrow it I'll probably be happy to let any random person on my boat learn on it. It feels huge, which also probably helps. Interesting on the "less trim tab" comment. I'll run without it and see how it feels. I have been cheating the surf side with people... looks like it cleans up a lot that way. I'll also check where my boards pointed... but I'm thinking I'm probably pointed a foot or two in from that. I'll have to grab some pics of the wake. More to come.
  13. Is it possible to dial in a F22 wave with Gen2 tabs and stock ballast? (No plug and Play, just hard tanks) I've been running both tanks full, middle tab 70%up, and ~10.8 mph. Seems like we're surfing to me... but we're all newbies and can't drop the rope for more than 30s. Thoughts?
  14. Does it help if you "reset" back to neutral and try the acceleration again?
  15. pete - - think you missed the point... Patron can quote the brand without setting ridiculous expectations. You don't expect Infinity Speakers to send sound across the entire galaxy do you?
