OK children stop the arguing before I tell your mother. It seems that we got the day problem taken care of and that we each go a different direction and now the concern is of everybody leaving at the same time. To every problem there is a solution. When it's time and everybody is leaving why don't some of the MB people drive their boats and trailers over to B&W to pull out?. Don't make me spank you and don't tell your mother I said this.
I had the same problem. Took steering wheel apart and glued the vinyl with high temp adhesive Held it together with a bunch of clothes pins. As far as the stripped nuts in the wheel. The loose nuts I screwed them into the screws and I put J-B weld on them. Put the wheel together with the good screws and clamped the wheel together to set up the J-B Weld. No problems since.
I know that you checked the shaft seal, but did you check it under a surf load. That's when mine would leak from the shaft seal is when we were surfing under load. Didn't leak until ballast was full and surf gate was out.
So my wife saw Gary Smith's Gatorstep install and was impressed with the look .and the installation. Is this what MB is using now? Also we would like to know how it holds up, cooler then carpet and the cleaning? Thanks in advance.
