Thanks for all the comments and like. It was a long day yesterday. We put 9 hours on(already had one) her. Then I did a tribute ride for my son on a wakeboard. My daughter was to emotional to do it. After that we started to surf. It has a great wave right out the box. A little playing with it and it will be awesome. We are in current on the D so probably just a speed thing.

Breakz77 was surfing. His rider fell so I swooped in and picked him up and rode our wave. Miked rolled up next to me and next thing you know he is surfing a bowl. It was great times all day yesterday.

So I only took about 8 pixs yesterday. I was to focused on getting on the water and getting time in. I forgot to get interior pix until we put her away. So lighting was not right. The interior is a blue green to match exterior. It looks way more blue in the pictures than it actually is.

Next time out I will take a bunch of photos early.

So is the 575 worth every penny?Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk

Absolutely. Runs at 3300 rpm surfing, . This motor is way quieter than the 440. We just drove around all day and surfed at the end. First half of day rpm from 2-4 k mostly 3-4 k. We had 9 in the boat. We stopped for fuel. It used 5 gph.

We did not file up at end. Next time outnwe r going to do an all surf day. I will post after.

2:1 tranny and 17" props will change the answer to this question in the future. Those are going to make smaller motors more viable.

Why do 440s in MBs make so much noise and eat so much fuel? My 440 is very quiet, and we surf at 3500-3600 regular and 3200-3300 goofy in my 24.5' 5400# monster boat (Supra SE) with 4200# ballast. All at 4.2-4.8 GPH. It's amazing.

Is it hull shape that makes the difference? Don't get me wrong a 575 would be awesome but we actually don't need it at 1400' elevation.

EDIT: in my Supra.

That 575 deffintelly has some get up and go!! I really enjoyed it!!

I can truly see the need for this motor!

I don't think it is needed, but is sure is fun.  This motor also comes with the 1.5:1 I love it has a ton of power throughout the rpm's. So you blip the throttle you better be holding on to something.
